Itza Brewing is a family-owned craft brewery in San Diego, CA. A husband-and-wife team. Itza Brewing name comes from our last name which Itza is part of. Itza is an ancient Mayan name. There are only a few families left in the world named Itza. The word “Itza” comes from Mayan words “itz” (“magic”) and “h(a)” (“water”). It is thought that “Itza” means “Water Magician.” At Itza Brewing we strive to create magic from water: our craft beer.

At Itza Brewing we make authentic, adventurous, inspired craft beer. We are on a journey to create unique, rare, hard-to-find beers and beer styles. Our brewing is fueled & inspired by ancient traditions, scientific knowledge, an adventurous mind & palate, and hard work. We focus on canning. Our goal is bring to the market beers that are hard to find in cans. This way the beer lovers can enjoy these rare beers in cans at home or anywhere they want.
